Simple foundation engineering needs professional assessment of the underlying soil material. We provide 20 kN capacity Dutch Cone Penetrometers (CPT) for this requirement. Nowadays, we have augmented our CPT to a 100 kN capacity and an electrical penetrometer.
Apart from that, drilling rigs are indispensable for the access of Standard Penetration Test (SPT), vane shear testing, undisturbed sampling, and probably for soil mixing for stabilization purposes. In the meantime, nine rotary and two auger drilling rigs are available for those works.
Simple manually driven penetration apparatus are provided for the assessment of ground bearing capacity. These comprise Dynamic Cone Penetration (DCP) and Mackintosh probe. Surface bearing capacity is also assured with California Bearing Ratio (CBR) and Plate Bearing Test (PBT).
